Environments

There are two separate and distinct environments we support for our partners:

1. Test
2. Production

Your team will be given access to the Test (also called demo or sandbox) environment first. The Test environment does not have live patient data.

The Test environment allows you to test all API calls and fetch test documents and data, but does not allow you to test with real patient records. We advise partners to perform additional test data fetches and data processing with beta test patients, in our more secure Production environment.

Greenlight provides some sample documents (CCDs), and sample FHIR R4 data, for your team to use in downstream testing. The sample CCDs and FHIR data will allow you to test how you would process the data once received.

customerId, x-api-key and clientSecret are issued separately for each environment: Greenlight will provide you with a test set of these three values AND a different production set.
